After a good nights sleep I was well rested and straight away crafted myself a Flint Spear. This beauty and be thrown allowing me to kill those skittish deer.
I explored more of the map finding both Black Forest and Mountains, I steered well clear.
I found another shack near to some Black Forest that I half repaired so I could get some rest. It might be suitable for a copper smelting base.
